How does one make a family's living from 40 to 50 head of cattle?

I'm really no cattleman, but 200 cows is not really a full-time job for a man, but it's enough to provide a half a chance to keep the bills paid. 

I have never understood why people think they 'should be able to make a living' doing what amounts to a weekend job, and then they criticize anyone who IS working at it full time and makeing a living, claiming they are 'decayed' and 'immoral' and 'greedy' and everything else under the sun. 

If you call the guy who works as hard as he can 'greedy' why don't you call the guy who doesn't 'slovenly?'  Two sides of the same coin.
