What I do not understand, and no one has yet provided any explanation, is why do you think you should get to decide what is "reasonable rent" or "outrageous rent," and why do you think it is your right to criticize someone who reaches a different conclusion of what it is. Why do you require so much more margin to make a living then the next guy, and why is it the landowners duty to subsidize you if someone else is willing to give him a larger piece of the pie?
that he requires more margin to make a living than they do, it's that if they are making $10 an acre spread over 40,000 acres, and he has to make $75 per acre spread over 500 acres, right there they can pay a lot more rent than him. I realize it's a free society, but I think you're the only guy on here whose wife regularly posts, and your pic mentions suchandsuch brothers farms, so you must be a family farmer, right? Then why are you such an ardent supporter of "mega farms" and so critical of the smaller guys? | |
