Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Regarding this ILL Family Farms. How is it that they are such a threat? How can they just go 'take' all this land away from others? I'm not defending them if they are using some illegal or unethical methods, I just honestly don't get the situation, mostly being half the country away and in a much different situation.
We've got some larger farms here as well, so I understand the issue, I just don't seen what the big deal is. Usually here whomever is paying top dollar for ground is the person who ends up with it, why would it be different elsewhere?
Reading some on this board it sounds like they are employing Mafia hit men to go around and torture people into leasing ground out. I would imagine that they are actually just able (through being better businessmen) to pay a little more for rent. How is acquiring land that way an issue?
