I think he is correct. Here are a few numbers for the last couple of years. Wheat June to July: 50 cent basis improvement and 1 buck on price in 2007. Corn this year: Fall to Jan. 50 cents. Beans Fall to now: 1.50. We have bins that are 30 plus years old.
I will not get into the ability to harvest when you wish and the only person you wait in line for is you.
Best investment over time. Not sexy. No steering wheel or black smoke. But one of the few things on the farm that makes money. Bins are like tile around here. You pay for a bin even if you don't have one.
