Either you and I are not on the same page terminology wise or your really yanking my chain now.
Why couldn't I figure out the cash price if I had the basis? Even though most fluctuate, if you gave me one, all I need to know then is kc board price that day.
You want to lock in wheat that hasn't grown yet, that's your baby. Someday when you get hailed out and then have to purchase it to fill contracts away from home for a price more than you were given you'll quit that shilly sit.
Just play paper bushels if your gonna go that route.
