I am a cut and dry type person. You are getting screwed and how does that feel ? The screwing only goes away when your dad is dead, and then maybe at that time you will find out if you are gonna get screwed again.

$2.5 million is a decent amount of money, but no way in hell I stand around getting screwed to get the land or money.

Make your own life, write your own book.

Family means nothing other than you have similar genetics.

Friends and your wife and kids should mean everything to you.

My dad sold the farm to me and my sister because he know that was the most fair. He sold it to us when he was 50. He sold it to us for what he paid for it and gifted the rest over a few years. My dad wanted the land to stay in the family, I would say it is a better way that my dad did than waiting until he was dead a guessing weather we were going to get it. Plus the hands f many want land of old people, just think about nursing homes and casinos and churches.

Run and don't look back....
