Panhandle of Ne. | Right now would be a great time to throw the towel in on ever getting the farm, I don't think it will happen. I think you are being used especially if he won't pay you back for parts you paid for to use on the farm.
If you still want to farm, go talk to some neighbors or start a sideline of working on tractors. Better yet, put in a few more hours at your job, if they will let you, at time and a half pay rate. I'm just guessing your family might enjoy your time off be spent with them also.
