ESW ND | He may have seen some of your purchases as an insult to him as well. Did he know WHY everything was getting purchased? Have you given or sold any land to him? A stake in the game as they call it. Have you tried talking to him since. Heck, send him a letter to read. You can get all your thoughts out without any interruptions and he can read it as well without any interruptions. At the end, tell him to stop back by and have a beer/coffee/soda to talk, not yell about it. He also doesn't want to wait till he's 70 to "get the land". You may live to 100 or may be forced into a nursing home in ten years and they take everything you ALL have worked for.
I don't know, I'm just spitballing here. I'm the son and it has finally gotten better since the past 5 years. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel, sometimes it's lit for you, sometimes you have to light it, but either way, there's always lots of wind trying to put it out. | |
