south of MplsStPaul | After reading the replies I think a lot of them are sad stories. I think the original poster has been quite honest. I would think the poster and his father have a good off farm income plus the sons wife's employment. I have gone through 90 years of life and I don't ever recall having concern about my inheritance. My first suggestion would be to Dad, get rid of the cattle have a little time to enjoy life. The suggestion of a farm credit card available to the son when needed sounds good to me. The alternative is that dad can get the parts himself. The son is entitled to be payed a reasonable amount for his labor. I am thankful for a lifetime of good family relationships. | |
