NE Oregon | sand85 Thank you so much for your perspective. I will be persistent in my “crowbar” efforts. You hit the nail on the head. I want this to work. Mostly because I see how it sets his soul on fire to be here working the land and raising livestock. He is so caring. The reassurance here that this really is a tough season, and with time will pass, has meant a lot.
Hubby’s mom is the career woman with a town job. She is a pretty busy lady. My parents are close (they moved across the state to be nearer to grandkids) so we have easy access to weekend sleepovers for the kids if we could get away- it just doesn’t happen.
My husband’s grandpa, who just passed, worked harder than anyone I know. He said headlights on tractors were the worst invention ever. I think he had some wisdom there as well. | |
