West Central Indiana | During calving my cows are top priority, there are no do overs during calving. If you don’t do your job the calf dies and that income is lost forever. You do need to tell him how you feel, and make it clear you need more of his time, but you need to accept that it probably won’t be during calving. When I first started farming, work took priority over everything, that was just crops no cows. Over time I learned that most of the time there will be another day and to spend some time with family. I have 1 daughter just out of college and one college freshmen so my situation is quite different. It’s not fair to him if you don’t tell him how you feel. Most importantly when weighing the future of your marriage do not pay much attention to morons like Sonic. If you search his posts you will find very little good advice. | |
