Oregon | Sounds almost exactly like our operation. I’ve been told the same thing to take time for friends, family, (in my case girl friend) and I can’t really say that I have a lot in my 25 years. Yes i go out and have fun when I can and do things with friends and gf, but when I see what other people are doing and listen to others advice, I sadly realize I don’t spend the time needed for what matters most. It’s sometimes a hard and definitely stressful life. I don’t know if I will ever change but I have tried to take more time for myself and gf lately. But it is easy to get so involved with the ranch to almost forget about everything else. It’s a difficult balance of caring so much for your livelihood and also for friends and loved ones. Just my opinion and definitely easier said than done. I have been and kind of am currently in a similar position as your husband. | |
