NE Oregon | nwksmilo thank you so much for the practical ideas and encouragement. I really appreciate it and value your perspective. I’ve definitely given more of a negative undertone to conversations around time off (there’s never enough, we NEVER go anywhere/out- which may be true; he hasn’t left a 15 mile radius around the ranch since...September maybe?) instead of working with him to make a plan and just do it. Other posters have suggested similar, being kind but firm in asking for a little bit of give on his part to take time for us. Obviously not during the crazy busy times, but anticipating and planning for some time would go a long way for both of us I think. | |
