west central Iowa | Haven't read all the replies, but want to say a couple things. One thing that stuck out to me was when you talked about going along feeding and felt like you were in the way. I always loved it when my wife and or kids came along to feed and we had a lot of fun. We always called the cows by calling "come boss". One time I walked through a bunch of hungry cows carrying my 3 year old son and when they got a little close he said "no-no come boss". The other thing is my wife wasn't real supportive of my work and trying to expand our operation and I shouldn't have let that stop me, but it affected things that in turn affected opportunities for our children. | |
