Lac qui Parle County Minnesota
Being Lutheran, I always felt it was a little odd for a priest to give marriage counciling and advice. It's kind of like people who don't have kids. They sure seem to have all the answers when they don't have any children, and then they have one and reality sets in. Almost 40 years ago my brother married a fine catholic girl. A big taboo back then. He never converted and the kids were raised catholic. Today, only one kid is a practicing Catholic, and the other two are now Lutheran. denominations don't matter as much as having a good CHRISTIAN foundation which none of the denominations have exclusive claim to.
