We both have agreed that when they ask us about raising our children catholic, that we are going to be completely honest. I have known people who just said what they priest wanted to hear (not naming names) so they could go forth with the marriage. But we would rather be honest and walk out with our heads up high, even if that means not getting it blessed by them.

Looking back on it now I truely didn't know when I signed the paper I was going to convert to Lutheranism, I did say I would raise our children Catholic but honestly didn't feel it was right towards my fiancé at the time. It took me three years of marriage and the birth of our first born child before I realized I should make the right choice for us and convert to Lutheranism. I really didn't want a two religion family.
