I'm with Chuck on this one. The denominational churches seem to be smothering themselves in hierarchy and regulation. Too many times, it seems like the churches make "policy and doctrinal" decisions based on popular societal opinions, not Biblical principal. The pastor at the church I attend says something like, " I'm not religious at all, I'm a Christian."


+2. We were both catholic, but chose to get married by a non-denominational Christian minister. I tend to be of the opinion that it doesn't matter which religion you affiliate yourselves with, it's following the teachings that matters.
