I practiced law for 9 years before I got married. I did a few divorces (probably 50 or more) in that time. We are both raised Catholic. We've been married 25 years this coming summer. As I remember the forms and questions were about what we did. The paper work went easy because we got married in her parish and the priest knew her and her parents. We did PreCana through my parish. I don't think they are picking on you. In my opinion: 1)The Church is trying to help you have a stronger marriage. 2) Divorce is less painful than PreCana.
