Just sayin.
Friend down here feeds his two dogs mostly meat. Told me most vets would tell him it is a terrible diet for them. But he has had dogs for years and dalmatians in the fire house.
Vet I knew when I was a kid said he could not feed the cheap grain based dog foods for the dogs he kept in the kennel for clients. There would be crap to clean up everywhere. Don't know if it is true, just what a veterinarian that specialized in small animals told me (he had done big animals and figured out where the real money was).
