Pittsburg, Kansas | I think much of modern medicine is amazing. Wife and I both would not be here today if not for modern medical procedures.
I have issues in two areas, the first being the subject of this thread, nutrition as it relates to prevention of disease. The medical (for the most part) is much more geared at fixing problems than preventing them. Maybe that is their only job, but if it is then your warning to me about giving medical advice because I talk about what I eat is null and void. If they are not handling the job, someone else needs to be.
The other has to do with the cost structure and charging outrageous prices to one person that has no insurance yet makes deals with insurance companies for a different rate. To me this is a racket and is illegal, but the medical big business gets a pass.
