I remember well the first time I heard it-1965, junior year in high school, machine shop class...the teacher told us at break time "You can talk about anything here except religion & politics". Way before the internet, but It's true, to me it's wasted breath...regardless of position or opinion, NOBODY'S mind is going to change. Blah, blah, blah...
