If its sticking straight up and down, its an inlet, therefore helping you, As water wont come straight out of the pipe like a geyser unless there is a sever upwards slope which is unlikely in most farm areas of MN, except SE. If it is an inlet, quit your b itch ing and thank him, as I know of no one who wouldn't buy a property that had excessive tile put in, except maybe a nature lover. But i dont know those kinds of people.*. I understand he did it with out asking which isnt necessarily a wanted thing, but he may have been genuinely trying to help you.
