I’m not trying to be the largest farmer around, not outbidding on land, it’s all a standard crop share lease because in a dry year on 5.5” of rain you can loose your ass. If a landlord wants to lease to you they will if not they won’t there’s not enough money in this corner of the desert to fight with your neighbors over. The custom spraying is new (less than 5 years) and is a way to help a young farmer get a leg up. | |
