| Craigslist, facebook. Farm pages, not help wanted. You probably want a guy who already has a job. Have to think about where he might be looking. Maybe hire someone out of ag retail. They might welcome going to work on a farm and you might pay better with fewer/more flexible hours than a corporate type operation.
I wouldn't worry too much about what others say on wages. Wages and cost of living are a local thing. I know some parts of eastern washington can be pretty poor. | |
