chief you are exactly correct its been across my scales and its about 4800 lbs heavy. But being head of maintenance i just keep a close eye on springs and tires. We actually make it a habit on bad snowy and rainy days to rotate tires 3 or 4 times a year. We have had them get flat spots and blow out on us on the way to a fire.
