Subject: RE: tanker firetruck

West Kentucky
That is exactly how we operate. Quick attack truck first( wet stuff on the red stuff) get the big unit set up while the attack unit puts on water.
We are converting all trucks to automatics it has got to be done.
Air brakes are much safer and dependable than hydraulic brakes on fire trucks.
Fire service approved baffles in the water tanks and never leave fire scene with a partial load of water on tanker.
