Ya know, in rural areas . . .  letting a fire do it's thing, wouldn't be a bad thing. Let the fire burn it all up. No worry about spreading to other homes/buildings, as in town or city. Grass fires same - most cases, no harm is done.
Sometimes, common sense goes out the door when following fire fighting regulations . . . .
One of the best fire fighting tools could be an excavator to keep the fire pushed together and contained. . . .
