Our FD bought a new tanker truck last year. We went with a Freightliner chassis with a Midwest Fire equipment fiberglass 3000 gallon tank. Ours is equipped with a 3500 gallon side mounted drop tank (with a powered cradle), three powered quick dump valves (one out each side) that can be run manually, a back up camera (not necessary but not everyone on our dept. can back up using mirrors), and a gas powered portable pump mounted on the drivers side compartment that is capable of filling or emptying the tank in a hurry.
