I agree entirely.  When are you and the wife getting yours so YOU know how to make it work?

I take the same hard sell line locally.  If you are going to gripe you better get involved in being part of the solution or shut the be quiet.

Training is a never ending battle ESPECIALY for volunteer departments.  The rules keep getting bent toward forcing us to career departments.  But there is not the funding in rural areas to pay for it.  So we are caught in a bad situation.  We can't get legal no matter how hard we try.  Remember, when volunteer fire fighters show up are doing it because they are care.  Not because they are getting paid for it
