I have never been able to understand why it takes a $80,000 truck to haul 2500 gallons of water to a fire once or twice a year, but most any farmer in the country can haul 4000+ gallons to the field every day all summer with less then $10k invested.
It's a tank on wheels. Spend the money on the people and stuff that actually fights the fires.
