what kind of tanker truck you looking at, one with a pump or just a tank?? if thats the case they both have advantages and disadvantages, a pump is nice because if there is only one person readily available then he can take that truck and have enough water to maybe contain a fire till others get there, a straight tanker truck is nice for dumping lots of water at a big fire, my personal thoughts are get a tanker pumper, one that holds at least 1500 gallons, for the reasons stated above, all depends on what kind of truck you are talking about???
