My feelings are just that the simpler a machine is probably the longer it will last and the more electonics you add the more problems you will have. Just because something has a big price tag does not make it better. Edit: However that does look like something our county would absolutely have to have. Unless they make a fancier one.
Dare I say, most procurement decisions are based on some sales person, that gets good commissions off what is sold or oversold/needed . . . . . .
and of course, having to up -one, on the neighboring town/city/department . . . .
There are many options and needs of fire departments - and many ways to accomplish and provide those needs in a less costly way . . . . ... |
