La Glace Alberta Canada
We really liked our first tanker. It was a single axle chev with a 800 gallon tank. It was nimble and fairly light. We had a short hose rigged up that a guy could ride on top and spray while the driver drove the edges of a grass fire. Have a porta tank folded up behind the cab. It held 1500 gallons and worked well. Had the 10" rear dump with the 90 degree pipe (this was removable and was usually stored in a storage box) so if it was just the driver hauling H2O he could pull up beside and see what was happening. Exhaust piping to the pump to keep it thawed ( it can get cold here ). Best thing I think about it was that most anyone could drive it. When we got our bigger one it eliminated a few people.
