I've thought at times about going to work for a larger farm and ask for a percentage of the crop for my compensation. Something like 5-10% depending on obvious reasons. This type of arrangement may attract folks with a sense of business.
Now that sounds like a good gig! 10,000 acres with a $250 gross would make a $250,000 salary, sign me up!;-)
