North End I-15 | Yes , some do . Never heard of it till I did just that . I quit farming this past fall. I soil tested and provided test to tenants , but the A Hole that I am ... I require the same from them on last year of 5 year lease. Adjustments for fertlity will be made @ end of lease .Adjustments ,credit or payments will be forth coming @ end of lease . All leases are crop share , and a reasonable % of crop , delivered cost free to elevator . I even let the tenant market my share . I'm the best landlord I ever knew . :>) Believe me I have had some real bastards , all family of course. The absentee Land Lords were the best . . All were amazed @ how much money they made from me . I guess I gave them an "Honest share " . :>) Yep I did .
Edit : I was told by others how dumb I was by giving all an honest share . Guess who did't get to rent the farm ? :>) Pay back time . ;<(
