You seem concerned about punishing land owners for being jerks.

I suspect some farmers around you will be concerned about what is best for their own farming operation, and they will be renting the ground.

We can learn from the past, but we can't change it, & the toe of your messages says you really, really want to punish some folks for what they have done in the past.....

It doesn't work that way, and those who move past it first are the ones who will come out the best down the road.

If I were a landlord, I'd be concerned about renting to you, and would hope to find someone with a better attitude in a few years, if all I could get this spring was someone who wanted to punish me by renting land from me I'd take it to pay the bills, but I'd sure keep my feelers out for a better relationship with someone else.....

Think about what you are saying, & how you are looking at this.

There is a real attitude coming from you. I understand it & sometimes agree with it. BUT, if you want to rent land, that attitude has to go away. Disappear.
