I told myself I would have to adapt to the machine. I am going to live with it for the rest of my life so I had better get used to it right away. When I go to sleep my brain doesn’t think I need to breathe. Mine isn’t a Cpap or a Bpap. The lady told me it is programmed to do the job some other different way. Anyway it works for me and my wife is not constantly poking me to get me breathing again at night. Once in awhile I will wake up in the middle of the night with the machine blowing into the mask like a hurricane. It must have been struggling to get me breathing again.
