This year (here) would have been a disaster farrowing in a pasture. It rained dang near everyday of the week several weeks this year.
Only other year that I can remember comparable to this year was 1993 and that was a disaster farrowing out in the pasture. It was hard to get feed out to the sows and pigs were constantly scouring because it was so wet all the time.
We had more rain this year than 1993.
