Yes....I will agree with that. However , you have to have a market for them and have looked into different marketing arrangements as have a couple of neighbors. When you produce 1500 pigs per farrowing..... lots of pigs all at one time to find a market for. Years ago... I believe Ibp was buying berks to get shipped to Japan..... I don’t believe that market is still their. I sold all my huts bout 2 years ago as my wife got tired of looking at them. Kept them around thinking I would farrow a few sows for a hobby when I get older.....as I age , I don’t think that would be a fun hobby.
