indeeppigfarmer - 2/10/2019 18:29 Why don't we get rid of all combustible engines, and god forbid can't use a draft draft horses to pull any load. Can plant and harvest all our crops by hand, and you better live pretty close to them, cause their shelf life wouldnt be very long. I could see a mass retirement of the majority of farmers over 60..maybe even over 50. As well as many younger farmers who are not in physical condition for that kind of labor. We have spent the last century and a quarter innovating technology and mechanization, so that people can live a stress free life..as far as base survival needs being readily available. And now some who have no idea how the real world works, and have never been in a needy situation would like to take us back to the dark ages.

Why don't we ban heated and air conditioned houses too?      If hogs don't need to be comfortable during a -40°F night people don't need to be either.     Mud huts for everyone.

This nonsense that raising hogs outside with minimal shelter is more humane than a confinement building is the most asinine thing I've ever heard coming from people that don't spend a second of time more than they absolutely have to when its below 30°F outside.
