North of London | Regarding the skink, that is likely the one I remember reading about.
Now I trust you read the whole story, if so you would have noticed how the skinks in lowland warmer areas were still laying eggs while those in cooler areas were having live births.
It lists the reasons for the advantages of each and notes how easy it appears to be for an e.g. laying animal to evolve to having live births when the environment rewards them for that.
You do not understand evolution if you think an animal is going to give birth to a different species.
The changes happen a little at a time over thousands or even hundreds of thousands of years.
And you think cows from 100 years ago were the same as todays cows?
Look at the amount of milk cows could give 100 years ago compared to todays cows.
I am getting double the yield or more form corn now as I got when I started farming 50 years ago and it is not all because I am a better farmer.
You try to make it too hard the evidence is right in front of you just open your eyes and forget those old folk tales which are holding you back. | |
