North of London | Not sure what geology you have studied but fossils did not end up on mountains from a flood but from the uplift of the ground which formed the mountains.
Uplift which took millions of years.
Coal and oil were formed from life forms that lived millions and billions of years ago.
Water flows down with gravity so if there is a hole for it to follow it will go down.
Not sure water would be liquid below the crust and if it was steam it would be trying to find a way out as in hot springs.
You are correct about interpretation but you have to stick to facts while interpreting not fiction.
You ask a great question when you ask how there could be different beliefs IF it was there in black and white.
That is the reason there are so many different gods, because the bible is not black and white and therefore there are lots of different interpretations leading to different gods.
Science sorts out different interpretations with the evidence available but uses facts to come to a decision not imagination. | |
