| I am sure the movie is artistically and technically well done. My wife and I like Russel Crowe, and I wouldn't mind seeing Emma Watson on the big screen. The problem and reason for the negative reviews is taking a 100,000' view of a Biblical account and putting a spin to it that is clearly not in the original story. Had he stayed true to the Biblical account and used the identical cast and other artistic touches, I bet Christians would be beating each other up to get to the front of the line.
