West Central Wisconsin | I was on cpap for several years with excellent results until the power went off one night. Just couldn't get used to it again. Went several years without but lack of sleep caught up to me and went back to dr. after I checked into "Inspire" but was told I was overweight. https://www.inspiresleep.com/ I think you need a body mass index around 30-31. https://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/educational/lose_wt/BMI/bmicalc.htm Got put on bipap for a year, similar but different, and didn't really help. Went on keto diet and lost 40 lbs. a year ago. I dropped my A1C, eliminated insulin, lowered my blood pressure, dropped my body mass index to 30 and the best part is I don't have to use the bipap! I'm back on the diet hoping to get to my weight when I graduated from high school, another 25 lbs. Good luck! | |
