I'm not sure this would be a good way to handle this situation. The way I looks to me you want to be the bully you perceive this coach to be. By you"flexing your muscles" the message you are sending is you can fix the situation with a fist fight. Not sure many problems have actually been fixed this way. Besides you don't know this guy couldn't put you on your a$$.

I also like how many responses are saying high school sports never taught them a thing. Obviously you all had terrific role models that taught you how to work and as long as you knew that you didn't need anything that sports might teach you. Thankfully many of you/us work in solitude. There are many kids now that do not get these lessons at home. Some have learned at home that there is no need to work for anything. Someone will give you what you want/need.

There is definitely a need to teach discipline and teamwork to many kids nowadays. How this coach went about this was not the correct way.
