There is another recent thread about banding.  That included both cats and dogs.  

That one was inconclusive, and the Hefty Bros. are also entertaining.  Some info. is useful, mostly spend the most money you can.
And that is not always the best advice.  But you do need to know, they are peddlers, salesmen.
