Freedom, WI | The original barn is where the cows get milked. There are 56 stalls in there where the cows are in winter and when the pastures are wet. There are a few acres of pasture that the cows use on a daily basis. The freestalls are there for some cows to lay inside. When there gets to be a lot of cows wanting to come in, we let them in. Its a bit complicated to fully explain, but this is the way it has been since before my time. Its probably not the most convenient, but it works. | |
