Just remember for a dairyman, the numbers don't always have to work. Many times a dairymans equipment is oversized because he has an appointment at 3:00 twice a day. Rain or shine no matter what else is going on.
We had pretty dismal milk prices in 2009...and I know people still paying off money they borrowed during that time period. And I know some of those people got sold out or had their lines of credit eliminated by their banker. An appointment twice a day with the cows is certainly important...but being able to make it through the financially tough times is more important IMO.
