Denison, Iowa | Our geo heat pump is on a "switch makes cents" interruptible meter with the local REC company and that rate is .048 cents/kwatt. That meter averages about $130 for the heat pump and hot water desuperheater tanks in the winter months and 40-50 in the cooling months. So far though the last wk-10 days our furnace blower has ran almost non-stop so we will see what the next bill says. It was -24 here this morning and still no auxillary heat source. | |
