IA. | Have had 3.5 ton unit in 1991 new house 2000' per floor ,800' heat loop system that has 3- 3/4" lines that long ,elec at 4.9 cents/kwh now ,with 68deg. winter 74 summer, with hot water on same meter my cost for a whole year so far has bee less than $ 500 /Year. my temp on my loop at 6-8' deep goes down to a low temp. every year to 33 degees I do have some antifreze in it. I have no back up heat needed I do have some big south windows in living room,I live in N.central IA. | |
